What the backlinks list is

The free backlink sites list is a curated catalogue of places where a website, product or creator can get listed. Each row is a real site with a submit page, and each one carries the facts you need to decide whether it is worth your time: type of site, estimated domain authority, link type, cost, effort and a priority band.

It is maintained from a curated sheet rather than scraped, so entries also carry a status that shows whether the submission path has been checked recently. Every row opens a detail page with the submit URL (with a copy button), step-by-step notes and any rules or caveats recorded for that site.

Categories answer the question ‘what kind of site is this?’. Each one has its own hub page, so you can work through one type at a time:

Reading a row: DA, link type, cost and impact

Estimated DA is a third-party style 0 to 100 score of how strong a domain's link profile is, rounded to the nearest 5. It is useful for comparing two sites, but it is not a Google metric, and relevance to your niche matters more. The list always labels it as an estimate.

Link type tells you what a normal listing on that site usually gives: Dofollow, Sometimes dofollow, or Nofollow. Sites change their link attributes without notice, so treat the label as a starting point and check your live listing afterwards. A nofollow link from a busy site still sends visitors and helps search engines discover you.

The impact score is a queueing aid, not a quality rating. It starts from the priority band (Do first, High, Medium, Later) and moves up for free, quick submissions and down for paid or involved ones, so the top of the list is what you can realistically finish today.

How to submit without spamming

  1. Prepare your assets once

Write a one-line description and a roughly 150-word description, and have a square logo and two or three screenshots ready. Almost every form asks for some mix of these.

  2. Start with Quick wins

Turn on the Quick wins filter: free, low effort and not in the lowest priority band. Claim profiles and free directory listings first.

  3. Read the detail page before you submit

Open the row, read the rules and caveats, and confirm the form still exists, particularly for rows marked as needing a check.

  4. Pick a few strong, relevant sites

Choose a handful of high-authority sites in your niche and write a proper guest post or launch post for each. Ten relevant links beat a hundred random ones.

  5. Track and tidy

Note where and when you submitted, recheck after a month, and update stale descriptions.

Frequently asked questions

Is the AltFTool backlinks list free?

Yes, the list itself is free to browse and filter. Most entries are also free to submit to or have a free tier; cost is shown on every row and the Nothing to pay filter narrows the list to those.

Does every listing give a dofollow link?

No. Each row shows the usual link type as Dofollow, Sometimes dofollow or Nofollow, based on an estimate per domain. Check your live listing, because sites change their policies.

What is the difference between DA and the impact score?

Estimated DA describes the strength of the site's link profile. The impact score orders your submission queue using priority, cost and effort. Neither is a Google ranking metric.
