What Business Ops is

Business Ops is the hub for AltFTool's service-category pages. It organises everyday service needs into categories so you can see what a category covers and which questions to ask, starting from one page.

Many Business Ops pages are interface demonstrations: they show how a service journey could be laid out, with sample content. They are not a marketplace and AltFTool is not a service provider.

Categories covered

The hub lists around 30 categories, including travel (TripFindBox), housing needs, insurance, loans, housing services, pet services, legal services, senior care, real estate, automotive, health care, tax and credit, government assistance, immigration services, jobs and careers, education, business and commercial services, security, internet services and event management.

Email sign-ups and your data

Some Business Ops pages include an email sign-up form. A notice shown on every Business Ops page explains that AltFTool saves an address you submit there. Do not enter financial, medical, immigration or identity details into any demonstration form. For how AltFTool handles data generally, see privacy and local processing.

Free tools that help with service decisions

While Business Ops pages are informational, several AltFTool calculators help you prepare before speaking to a real provider. They run in your browser and show their working:

Frequently asked questions

Can I book a service or get a quote through Business Ops?

No. Business Ops demonstrations are non-transactional. Quote, call and purchase actions are disabled, and provider details shown are placeholders.

Are the providers listed in Business Ops verified?

No. Names, offers, ratings and phone numbers in the demonstrations are sample content, not verified providers. Check licensing and reviews with the provider directly.

Why are Business Ops pages not in search results?

The Business Ops section is intentionally kept out of search engine indexes because much of it is demonstration content.
