About this tool

Lucky Number Generator

Fair lucky number generator: quick picks for 16 lottery games with exact odds, a lottery lab (checker, odds, wheel, simulator), numerology, zodiac and custom draws.

The Lucky Number Generator finds numbers six ways, all in your browser with nothing sent to a server. Quick pick, Lottery and Custom are true random draws: they use your browser's cryptographic random source (crypto.getRandomValues) with rejection sampling, so every number in the range is exactly as likely as any other. Lottery mode knows the real formats of 14 games plus the Pick 3 and Pick 4 daily digit games, from Powerball (5 from 1–69 plus 1 from 1–26) to UK Lotto and Lotto Max, and shows each game's jackpot odds worked out from that format. Birth date, Name and Zodiac are not random: they apply the classic rules of Pythagorean numerology and the Chaldean planet numbers, so the same input always gives the same answer. They are for fun and reflection, and no number from any mode can change the odds of a draw. The Lottery lab adds four tools: a number checker that analyses your own line and compares it with a result, an odds calculator for every prize level (any format), a full wheel generator, and a simulator that plays your line in up to a million fair draws.

Odds are combinations: for Powerball, 69 choose 5 times 26 = 292,201,338. A line from this generator has the same odds as any other line. Formats change from time to time, so check the operator's site before you play.

Common use cases

  • Filling a lottery slip: pick the game, choose up to 10 lines, copy them or save them for the next draw.
  • Drawing winners for a raffle, giveaway, seat plan or classroom game, with your own range, no repeats and numbers to leave out.
  • Working out your life path, birthday, personal year, expression, soul urge and personality numbers without doing the digit sums by hand.
  • Getting a repeatable daily set for your zodiac sign or birth date to share with friends.
  • Checking a ticket against the winning numbers, seeing the odds of every prize tier, or wheeling a pool of favourite numbers into every combination.
  • Teaching probability: simulate a million draws and compare what happened with what the maths expects.

Frequently asked questions

Which find options does this tool cover?

Lucky numbers (Quick pick, Lottery, Birth date, Name, Zodiac and Custom), plus three companion finders: Color, Day and Name alphabet. Pick one at the top of the tool; the page link updates (for example ?v=color) so you can bookmark or share that exact view.

How do I generate lucky numbers for the lottery?

Open Lottery mode, choose your game and set how many lines you want, up to 10. Each line follows the game's real format: Powerball gives 5 numbers from 1–69 plus a Powerball from 1–26, EuroMillions 5 from 1–50 plus 2 Lucky Stars from 1–12. Numbers are unique within a line and sorted low to high. Copy them, save them or download a .txt.

Do lucky numbers improve your chances of winning?

No. In a fair draw every combination is equally likely, so a generated line is exactly as likely to win as one you choose yourself. What changes is sharing: many people pick birthdays, so lines made only of 1–31 are more often shared if they win. The generator flags such lines.

Are the numbers truly random?

Quick pick, Lottery and Custom use crypto.getRandomValues, the browser's cryptographic random source, with rejection sampling so no number is favoured. Run the fairness test under the tool to watch 10,000 draws spread evenly. Birth date, Name and Zodiac are formulas, not random, so they repeat for the same input.

How is my life path number calculated?

Reduce the month, day and year of birth to single digits separately, keeping 11, 22 and 33, then add them and reduce again. For 29 November 1987 that is 11 + 11 + 7 = 29, which reduces to 11, a master number. The tool also shows your birthday number and your personal year for the current year.

What are my name numbers?

Using the Pythagorean chart (A=1 to I=9, then J=1 and so on), the expression number adds every letter of your name, the soul urge adds the vowels and the personality adds the consonants. Y is counted as a consonant. Accents are removed first, so é counts as e.

What are the lucky numbers for my zodiac sign?

In the Chaldean (Cheiro) tradition each planet has a number: Sun 1, Moon 2, Jupiter 3, Uranus 4, Mercury 5, Venus 6, Neptune 7, Saturn 8, Mars 9. Your sign's lucky numbers are its ruling planet's number and the numbers that reduce to it, so Aries (Mars) gets 9, 18, 27, 36 and 45. The page also shows a daily set that is the same for everyone with your sign that day.

Can I exclude numbers or always include my favourites?

Yes, in Custom mode. Type numbers to never include and numbers to always include, choose the range and how many to draw, and allow or forbid repeats. If the request is impossible, such as 10 unique numbers from 1–5, the tool tells you what to change.

Where are my saved numbers stored?

In your browser's localStorage only: the last 50 draws and up to 30 saved sets. Nothing is uploaded or synced, so another browser or cleared site data starts fresh. Share links carry only random numbers, never your birth date or name.

What is a lottery wheel and does it help?

A wheel takes a pool of numbers, more than one line holds, and lists every line you can make from them. Open Lottery lab, choose Wheel, tap your pool (up to 24) and optional key numbers that go in every line. A wheel only buys more lines: if all the winning numbers are in your pool you hold the jackpot line, but each line has the same odds as any other.

How do I check my lottery numbers?

Open Lottery lab, choose Check numbers, pick your game and tap your numbers. The report shows the sum, odd and even mix and popular patterns that make a shared prize more likely. Turn on Compare, enter the official winning numbers and it shows what you matched and the odds of that match level.

What are the odds of winning any prize?

It depends on the game's prize tiers. The odds calculator adds up every prize tier: about 1 in 24.9 for Powerball and about 1 in 9.2 for UK Lotto per round. It also works out custom formats and the chance of a jackpot if you play for years.

Is the Lucky Number Generator free?

Yes. It is free with no account, no signup and no limit. It is for entertainment: if you play a lottery, play only where it is legal for you and set a budget you can afford to lose.
