How Lotto America is played
You choose five different numbers from 1 to 52 and one Star Ball from 1 to 10. The Star Ball comes from its own pool, so it can repeat one of your main numbers. Matching all five main numbers plus the Star Ball wins the jackpot.

Jackpot odds, calculated
There are 2,598,960 ways to choose five numbers from 52, the same as the number of five-card poker hands from a standard deck. Multiplying by the 10 possible Star Balls gives 25,989,600 combinations, so one line has a 1 in 25,989,600 chance of the jackpot.
That is roughly eleven times better than Powerball's jackpot odds, which is why the advertised jackpots are smaller. Each combination is still exactly as likely as any other.
How the generator picks your numbers
The tool takes random values from your browser's crypto API and maps them to the right ranges with rejection sampling, avoiding the slight skew that a simple remainder can introduce. Five main numbers are drawn without repeats, then one Star Ball.
