Powerball Number Generator
Powerball is one of the two big multi-state lotteries in the United States. A play is five different main numbers from 1 to 69 plus one Powerball from a separate pool of 1 to 26. This generator fills a line for you in a single click, using your browser's cryptographic random source, so every number in each pool has the same chance of being chosen.
A random line is exactly as likely to win as one you choose by hand. No tool, pattern or system can improve your odds, and this one does not claim to. What it offers is speed and a genuinely unbiased pick. Play only where it is legal for you, check the minimum age, and decide on a budget before you buy any ticket.

How the Powerball format works
Each line has two parts. First, five white-ball numbers drawn without repeats from 1 to 69; the order does not matter. Second, a single red Powerball from 1 to 26, which is drawn from its own drum, so it can match one of your white numbers.
Matching all five white balls and the Powerball wins the jackpot. Smaller prizes are paid for partial matches, as set out in the official prize chart. Optional add-ons and their prices are decided by the operator, so check the official Powerball site or your state lottery for current details, including draw days.
What the jackpot odds really are
There are 11,238,513 ways to choose five numbers from 69, and 26 possible Powerballs. Multiplying the two gives 292,201,338 possible lines, so a single line has a 1 in 292,201,338 chance of matching the jackpot combination.
Every one of those combinations is equally likely, including ones that look unusual such as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. A sequence feels less random to us, but the drawing machine has no preference.
How this quick pick is generated
The generator asks the browser's crypto API for random values and uses rejection sampling to turn them into numbers in range, which avoids the small bias a simple remainder can introduce. It draws the five main numbers without repeats, then the Powerball from 1 to 26, and sorts the main numbers for easy reading.
The page also shows simple facts about the line, such as its sum and its mix of odd and even numbers. Those figures describe the ticket; they do not make it more or less likely to win.
Hot numbers, cold numbers and other myths
Some sites track which numbers have come up often or rarely in past draws. Each drawing is independent of the last, so a number that appeared last week is no more or less likely to appear this week. Tracking history can be interesting, but it does not change the odds.
One thing your choice can affect is how many people you might share a prize with. Many players pick birthdays, which only go up to 31, so a random line spread across 1 to 69 is less likely to duplicate popular picks. It does not make winning more likely.
Frequently asked questions
How many numbers do you pick in Powerball?
You pick six numbers in total: five different white-ball numbers from 1 to 69 and one Powerball from 1 to 26. The Powerball comes from a separate pool, so it may be the same value as one of your white numbers.
What are the odds of winning the Powerball jackpot?
One line has a 1 in 292,201,338 chance. That figure comes from the 11,238,513 ways to pick five numbers from 69, multiplied by the 26 possible Powerballs. Lower prize tiers have better odds, which the official prize chart lists.
Are quick pick numbers more likely to win?
No. A quick pick and a hand-picked line have identical odds, because every combination is equally likely in a fair draw. Quick picks are simply faster and avoid the human habit of choosing birthdays or familiar patterns.
Is this generator connected to the official Powerball game?
No. This is an independent random number tool with no link to the Multi-State Lottery Association or any state lottery. It cannot buy tickets or check results. Use your state's official lottery channels to play and to confirm draw results.
When are Powerball draws held and how much is a ticket?
Draw days, ticket prices and add-on options are set by the operator and can change, so please check the official Powerball website or your state lottery for current information before you play. Rules are set by the Multi-State Lottery Association and participating lotteries.
Can I use the same generated numbers every draw?
Yes, you can save a line and play it repeatedly if you like. Doing so does not change your odds in any single draw. Whatever you decide, keep play within a budget you can afford and only play where you meet the legal age requirement.
For entertainment and education. Random numbers cannot predict or improve the result of a draw, and numerology and astrology are traditions, not science. If you play a lottery, play only where it is legal for your age and location, and set a budget you can afford to lose. Free, confidential help: BeGambleAware (UK), 1-800-GAMBLER (US).
