Pick 4 Number Generator
Pick 4 is the four-digit version of the daily games run by many US state lotteries. Each of the four positions is drawn separately from 0 to 9, so digits can repeat and order matters for a straight bet. This generator gives you four random digits in one click, using cryptographic randomness so every digit has the same chance in every position.
A generated number is no more likely to win than one you pick, and nothing can make any four-digit result more likely. Bet types, names, prices, draw times and prizes differ from state to state, so check your state lottery's rules before playing. Play only where it is legal for you and keep spending within a set budget.

How Pick 4 works
A Pick 4 play is four digits, each from 0 to 9. Since each digit is drawn on its own, there are 10 x 10 x 10 x 10 = 10,000 possible results, from 0000 to 9999. Digits can repeat, and for a straight bet they must match in exact order.
The game goes by names such as Pick 4, Daily 4 or Win 4 depending on the state, and many states hold more than one draw a day. Each state lottery sets its own bet types and prizes, so read your state's official rules for current details.
Straight and box odds
A straight bet wins only if all four digits come up in your order, a 1 in 10,000 chance. A box bet wins if your digits come up in any order. The number of possible orders depends on repeated digits, and that sets the odds.
Four different digits, such as 1-2-3-4, have 24 orders, so a 24-way box is 1 in 417. One pair, such as 1-1-2-3, gives 12 orders, or 1 in 833. Two pairs, such as 1-1-2-2, give 6 orders, or 1 in 1,667. Three of a kind, such as 1-1-1-2, gives 4 orders, or 1 in 2,500. A number like 8-8-8-8 has one order and cannot be boxed.
How the generator works
The browser's crypto API provides random values, which rejection sampling turns into digits from 0 to 9 with no bias. Each of the four positions is drawn separately, so repeats appear as often as they would in a real draw, and the order is kept as drawn.
If you plan to play a box, look at how many digits repeat in your number. That tells you whether it is a 24-way, 12-way, 6-way or 4-way box, and what the odds are.
Why past results do not help
With several draws a day in some states, Pick 4 builds up long result histories, and charts of frequent digits or pairs are easy to find. Each draw is independent, so every four-digit result keeps the same 1 in 10,000 chance every time.
Popular numbers such as dates, years or repeated digits are played by many people. Where prizes are fixed this makes no difference, but some states cap payouts or share prize pools, so check your state's rules if that matters to you.
Frequently asked questions
What are the odds of winning Pick 4?
A straight bet has a 1 in 10,000 chance. Box odds depend on repeated digits: 1 in 417 for a 24-way box, 1 in 833 for a 12-way box, 1 in 1,667 for a 6-way box and 1 in 2,500 for a 4-way box.
What does 24-way, 12-way, 6-way and 4-way box mean?
It is the number of different orders your four digits can appear in. Four different digits give 24 orders, one pair gives 12, two pairs give 6 and three of a kind gives 4. More orders mean better box odds but usually a smaller prize.
Can digits repeat in Pick 4?
Yes. Each position is drawn separately from 0 to 9, so results like 1122 or 0000 can happen. The generator draws each digit separately too, so it can produce repeats.
Can I box a number like 7777?
No. A number with all four digits the same has only one order, so a box would be the same as a straight bet. States do not offer a box on quads.
How much does Pick 4 cost and when is it drawn?
Prices, draw times, bet types and prize amounts vary by state and may change. Please check your state lottery's official website for current details before you play.
Is this Pick 4 generator affiliated with a state lottery?
No. It is an independent free tool that picks random digits. It cannot sell tickets or check results; use your state lottery's official channels, and play only where it is legal for you.
