Oz Lotto Number Generator

Oz Lotto is a national Australian lottery in which each line is seven different numbers from 1 to 47. Matching all seven winning numbers wins division one. This generator creates a line instantly using cryptographic randomness, so every number from 1 to 47 has an equal chance of being picked.

Like every random selection, it gives you the same odds as a line you choose by hand. It is not a prediction tool, and no such tool can exist for a fair draw. If you play, use authorised Australian lottery outlets or apps, respect the minimum age where you live, and set yourself a budget before buying.

How Oz Lotto works

A line is seven different numbers from 1 to 47. In each draw, seven winning numbers are drawn, followed by three supplementary numbers from the same pool. Players do not choose supplementary numbers; they count toward some lower divisions.

Since the supplementaries are not picked by players, the generator does not produce them. For entry prices, draw days and entry types, check the official site for your state or territory.

Division one odds

There are 62,891,499 ways to choose seven numbers from 47, so a single line has a 1 in 62,891,499 chance of matching all seven winning numbers.

Supplementary numbers add lower prize divisions but do not change the division one odds. Division two, six winning numbers plus one supplementary, has odds of 1 in 2,994,833. Every combination has exactly the same chance of being drawn.

What the generator does

The tool uses the browser's crypto API with rejection sampling to draw seven different numbers from 1 to 47 without bias, then sorts them for you.

You can save lines, copy them or draw new ones. Extra statistics shown with a line, such as the sum or the odd and even split, are descriptive and do not affect the odds.

Frequently asked questions

How many numbers do you choose in Oz Lotto?

You choose seven different numbers from 1 to 47. Supplementary numbers are also drawn from the same pool, but players do not pick them, so this generator gives you only the seven numbers for your line.

What are the Oz Lotto division one odds?

One line has a 1 in 62,891,499 chance of matching all seven winning numbers. That is the number of ways to choose seven numbers from 47, and every combination is equally likely. Lower divisions have shorter odds.

What are supplementary numbers in Oz Lotto?

They are three extra numbers drawn from the same pool after the seven winning numbers. They count toward certain lower prize divisions. Players do not choose them, and the exact rules are set by the operator, so check the official site.

Are quick pick numbers luckier?

No. A random line has exactly the same chance as one picked by hand. Patterns, birthdays and past results do not change the odds either, because each draw is independent of every other. The generator is just a fast way to choose.

Is this site part of Oz Lotto?

No. This is an independent free generator, not affiliated with Oz Lotto or any Australian lottery operator. It cannot sell entries or check results; please use official outlets and apps for those. It is simply a free random picker.

For entertainment and education. Random numbers cannot predict or improve the result of a draw, and numerology and astrology are traditions, not science. If you play a lottery, play only where it is legal for your age and location, and set a budget you can afford to lose. Free, confidential help: BeGambleAware (UK), 1-800-GAMBLER (US).
