Barbell exercises

A barbell is a long bar loaded with weight plates. Because both hands share the load, it lets you lift more weight than most other tools, which makes it a mainstay of strength training.

Use collars to hold the plates in place, learn each lift with a light bar first, and use a rack with safety bars for squats and presses.
