SketchFlow: free online whiteboard and diagram maker

Sketch Flow is a free, hand-drawn infinite whiteboard that runs in your browser. Sketch flowcharts, mind maps, wireframes and diagrams with shapes, arrows that stay connected, sticky notes, text and images — then export a PNG or SVG or share a link. There is no account to create, and your boards are saved on your own device.

What you can do with Sketch Flow

  • Infinite, hand-drawn canvas

Pan and zoom without limits. Shapes and lines have a friendly sketched look, and you can turn the roughness down for a cleaner finish.

  • Arrows that stay connected

Draw an arrow from one shape to another and it binds to both, so moving a box keeps the diagram intact. Straight, elbow and curved routes.

  • Templates to start fast

Flowcharts, mind maps, wireframes, kanban, SWOT, ER and more — open one, rename the labels and you are done.

  • Sticky notes, text and images

Brainstorm with sticky notes, write anywhere with the text tool, and drop in screenshots or photos from your device.

  • Export PNG, SVG or a file

Download a PNG for chat, a crisp SVG for documents, or a .sketchflow file you can open again later.

  • Private by default

No account. Your board is saved in this browser's local storage, and share links carry the drawing inside the link itself.

Start from a template

Each template opens on the board as ordinary, editable shapes. Read how to use it first, or open it straight away.

Frequently asked questions

Is SketchFlow free?

Yes. SketchFlow is a free online whiteboard from AltFTool. There is no account, no trial and no watermark on exported PNG or SVG files.

Do I need to sign up or install anything?

No. It runs in any modern browser on desktop, tablet or phone. Open the page and start drawing.

Where are my drawings saved?

In your browser's local storage on the device you are using, and they are saved automatically as you work. Clearing site data removes them, so export a .sketchflow file to keep a backup.

How do I share a diagram?

Use the share button in the top bar to copy a link. The drawing is compressed into the part of the link after the #, which browsers never send to a server; whoever opens it gets their own editable copy.

Can several people edit the same board in real time?

Not at the moment. SketchFlow is a single-user board; use share links to pass editable copies back and forth.

What can I export?

PNG and SVG images, with or without the board background, and the .sketchflow file format for re-opening a board later.
