Free online whiteboard — draw, plan and share

SketchFlow is a free online whiteboard for thinking on a big, endless canvas. Sketch freehand, drop shapes and notes, point things out with the laser while presenting, and export or share when you are done — all without logging in.

What is an online whiteboard?

An online whiteboard is a digital canvas for drawing, writing and arranging ideas, like a meeting-room whiteboard that never runs out of space and can be saved, exported and shared.

Why SketchFlow

  • Infinite canvas with pan and zoom, plus a grid you can toggle.
  • Freehand pen, shapes, text, images, frames and a laser pointer.
  • Private by design: boards are saved in your own browser, not on a server.
  • Light and dark board themes for any room or screen.

How to use SketchFlow as an online whiteboard

  1. Step 1: Open SketchFlow — the board is ready immediately.
  2. Step 2: Pick a tool from the toolbar or press its key (P pen, R rectangle, T text).
  3. Step 3: Hold Space and drag, or scroll, to move around the canvas; Ctrl/Cmd + scroll zooms.
  4. Step 4: Use the laser pointer (K) while presenting so others can follow.
  5. Step 5: Export as PNG or SVG, save a .sketchflow file, or copy a share link.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account to use the whiteboard?

No. Open the page and start drawing; nothing asks you to sign in.

Can several people draw on the same board live?

Not at the moment. Share a link to hand someone an editable copy of your board; they can send their version back the same way.

Is my whiteboard private?

Yes. Boards are kept in your browser's local storage. A share link carries the drawing inside the link itself, after the #, which browsers do not send to the server.
