• Software Update (Cosmos)The Pin runs software called Cosmos, which is updated periodically to add features, improve performance, and fix issues. Updates are delivered over your connection to the Pin.

Privacy & Security

Control which apps can access your camera, microphone, and data.

• Voice Interaction & Trust LightThe Pin is voice-first, and the Trust Light is a visual indicator on the device that lets you and anyone nearby know when it's actively capturing or listening.
• Privacy & Captured MomentsInteractions and captures from the Pin are saved as Moments, which you can review, manage, and delete through your companion Cosmos web account.

Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and network connection settings.

• Wi-Fi & Data Plan (eSIM)The AI Pin connects over Wi-Fi and can also use an optional built-in data plan (eSIM), which lets it work independently without being paired to a phone.

• Laser Ink Display & GesturesBeyond voice, the Pin can be controlled with touch gestures on its face and can project an optional Laser Ink Display onto your palm to show content visually.

• Initial Setup & Cosmos AccountBefore your AI Pin can be used, it needs to be attached to its Battery Booster, powered on, and linked to a Cosmos account, which is also where you'll later review captured Moments and manage settings from a browser.

Troubleshooting

• Connectivity & Overheating TroubleshootingIf the Pin becomes unresponsive, loses its connection, or feels warm during heavy use, a few basic troubleshooting steps can usually resolve it without needing support.

• Battery & Battery BoosterThe Pin clips to your clothing using the Battery Booster, a magnetic backing accessory that also holds a swappable battery, so you can extend battery life throughout the day without taking the Pin off.
