- Always-On DisplayAlways-On Display, available on Apple Watch Series 5 and later (excluding SE models), keeps a dimmed version of the watch face and complications visible at all times instead of the screen going black when you lower your wrist.
- NotificationsApple Watch mirrors iPhone notifications by default, but each app's alert behavior can be customized independently on the watch — including which apps notify you at all and whether alerts show a preview.
- Sound & HapticsSound & Haptics settings control how loud alerts play, how strong the Taptic Engine's tap feels, and whether the watch stays silent. These are available both on the watch and in the Watch app.

- Sleep TrackingThe Sleep app on Apple Watch tracks time asleep and, on supported models, sleep stages (REM, Core, Deep, Awake) using motion and heart rate data, working alongside Sleep Focus and wind-down schedules set in the Health app.
- Wallet & PaymentsThe Wallet app on Apple Watch lets you add credit/debit cards, transit cards, and passes so you can pay or board transit by double-clicking the side button and holding the watch near a reader, without needing your iPhone.
- Apps ManagementApple Watch apps can install automatically alongside their iPhone counterpart, or be downloaded independently from the App Store on the watch. The Home Screen can be arranged as a grid or list, and unused apps can be removed to save storage.
