- 2

Why use Exam Day Checklist
All 7 in one place
Bank, Board, CAT and the rest sit behind one picker, so switching exam takes a tap instead of a new search.
Built for each option
Every exam keeps its own rules, numbers and defaults rather than one generic template.
Shareable view
The link remembers the exam you picked, so a bookmark or a shared link opens straight on it.
Common use cases
- A candidate the night before IBPS Clerk prelims running down the entry-critical items, including the ID photocopy most people forget
- A Class 12 candidate with a 40-minute bus ride finding that a 10:30 paper means leaving home by 8:50 to be at the gate half an hour before it closes at 10:00.
- A Slot 1 candidate with a 45-minute commute seeing that a 8:30 AM start means leaving home by 6:30 to clear biometrics inside the reporting window.
- A first-shift candidate working out when to leave home so they are inside before the 8:30 am gate closing for a 9 am paper
Frequently asked questions
Which exam options does this tool cover?
7: Bank, Board, CAT, JEE, NEET, Railway, SSC. Pick one at the top of the tool; the page link updates (for example ?v=bank) so you can bookmark or share that exact view.
What documents do I need to carry for an IBPS or SBI exam?
Three things are entry-critical: the call letter printed from the portal, a currently valid photo ID in original (Aadhaar, PAN, passport, driving licence, voter ID or a bank passbook with photograph), and a photocopy of that same ID, which is submitted at the desk along with the call letter. Carry passport photographs identical to the one you uploaded, and a marriage certificate or gazette notification if your name has changed since the documents were issued.
What time does the CBSE board exam gate close?
Thirty minutes before the paper starts — 10:00 AM for the standard 10:30 AM sitting. No candidate is admitted after that, and the reason for being late does not matter. Aim to be at the centre by 9:30 so a wrong turn or a queue at the entry check still leaves you inside.
Can I go back to a previous section in CAT?
No. Each of the three sections has a hard 40-minute limit and the screen advances automatically when the time is up. Once VARC closes you cannot return to it, which is why the order — VARC, then DILR, then QA — is worth planning around rather than discovering on the day.
What documents are required on JEE Main exam day?
Four things are entry-critical: the admit card printed from the NTA portal, the self-declaration (undertaking) printed with it, one passport-size photograph matching the uploaded one for the attendance sheet, and an original valid photo ID such as Aadhaar, PAN, passport, driving licence, voter ID or a school ID. PwBD candidates additionally carry their certificate and scribe approval where applicable.
What is the NEET dress code?
Light clothes with half sleeves and no large buttons, brooches, badges or flowers, with slippers or low-heeled sandals instead of shoes. Jewellery and metallic items of any kind are not allowed, and candidates in customary dress are asked to reach the centre 90 minutes before the paper so frisking can be completed.
What documents are required for an RRB railway exam?
Two things are entry-critical: the e-call letter printed from the RRB website and the original photo ID whose number you entered in the online application — RRBs match the ID against the application data, so a different ID or a photocopy is not accepted. Carry recent passport photographs matching the uploaded one as the call letter directs, and Aadhaar helps because centres run Aadhaar-linked biometric verification.
What time does the gate close for an SSC exam?
Thirty minutes before the test begins. Your admit card prints both a reporting time, usually about an hour before, and the gate closing time — after the gate closes, candidates are not admitted.
