Common use cases
- Checking before you pay the fee whether an SC candidate with a benchmark disability clears the IBPS Clerk upper limit, where the two relaxations stack to 15 years on top of 28.
- Working out that a JoSAA allotment means arranging ₹1.26 lakh on reporting day even though ₹35,000 of it is adjusted against the institute fee, so the real outlay is lower than the number on the screen.
- A UPSC Personality Test candidate finding that 2 sets at 20 pages each means 40 photocopies and 40 signatures to sign the night before, not a ten-minute job on the morning.
- A Class 12 student lining up board roll number, Aadhaar and photo scans the week before the JEE Main session window opens
Frequently asked questions
Which exam or event options does this tool cover?
13: Bank exam application, Counselling day, Interview day, JEE application, NEET application, Physical test day, Railway application, Scholarship application, School admission, SSC application, State PSC, UPSC admit card day, UPSC application. Pick one at the top of the tool; the page link updates (for example ?v=bank-exam) so you can bookmark or share that exact view.
What is the age limit for IBPS PO and IBPS Clerk?
IBPS PO takes candidates aged 20 to 30 and IBPS Clerk 20 to 28, both measured on the cut-off date printed in that year's notification rather than on the exam date. SBI PO runs 21 to 30 and SBI Clerk 20 to 28. Upper limits move with relaxation; the minimum never does.
How much is the JoSAA seat acceptance fee?
Recent cycles notified ₹35,000 for OPEN, OPEN-PwD, OBC-NCL, OBC-NCL-PwD, EWS and EWS-PwD candidates and ₹17,500 for SC, ST, SC-PwD and ST-PwD candidates. It is adjusted against the institute's own fee when you take admission; on withdrawal a processing charge is deducted under the business rules for that cycle. Confirm the amount in the current bulletin before transferring anything.
Which document proves my date of birth at an interview?
The Matriculation or Secondary School Leaving Certificate, and for central recruitments only that. A birth certificate issued later, an affidavit, a horoscope or a transfer certificate is not accepted as a substitute, and a request to correct the date after the recruitment has begun is not entertained.
What documents are required to fill the JEE Main application form?
You need an identity number (Aadhaar preferred), Class 10 certificate details for name and date of birth, Class 12 board and roll number, a recent passport-style photograph and signature scan in JPG, and PDFs of any claim certificate — OBC non-creamy-layer, EWS, SC/ST or PwD. The photo and signature size bands are printed in each year's information bulletin.
What documents are needed for NEET registration?
You need an identity number (Aadhaar preferred), Class 10 certificate details, a passport-size photograph on white background (JPG, 10-200 KB), a postcard-size 4"x6" photograph, a signature scan (JPG, 4-30 KB), and PDFs of any category certificate you claim — OBC-NCL, EWS, SC/ST or PwBD. NRI and OCI candidates also upload a citizenship or embassy document.
What pace do I need to run 5 km in 24 minutes?
4 minutes 48 seconds per kilometre, which is 1 minute 55 seconds for each 400-metre lap and an average speed of 12.5 km/h. Twelve and a half laps at that split gets you home exactly on the cut-off, so aim a few seconds under each lap to bank a margin.
How much is the RRB application fee and how much comes back?
₹500 for candidates outside the concession bracket, of which ₹400 is refunded — less bank charges — to anyone who appears in the first stage CBT. Candidates in the concession bracket pay ₹250 and get the whole ₹250 back on the same condition. Miss the CBT and nothing is refunded at all.
What is the family income limit for a post-matric scholarship?
₹2,50,000 a year for the SC and OBC post-matric schemes and for PM-YASASVI. The National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship allows up to ₹3,50,000, the Central Sector Scheme up to ₹4,50,000, and AICTE Pragati and Saksham up to ₹8,00,000. Income means the combined income of both parents from all sources, certified by a revenue authority such as a Tehsildar.
What is the minimum age for Class 1 admission in India?
Six years completed as on the school's cut-off date, which is usually 31 March or 30 April of the admission year. The Ministry of Education advised states to align Class 1 entry with age six under NEP 2020, though a few states still allow a small relaxation, so check the school prospectus.
What documents are needed to fill an SSC application form?
For One-Time Registration you need your Aadhaar number (or a voter ID, PAN, passport, driving licence or school/college ID), your Class 10 board name, roll number and year of passing, your own and your parents' names and date of birth exactly as in the matric certificate, and a mobile number and email ID you can verify by OTP. For the form itself keep a scanned signature (JPEG, 10-20 KB), any SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwBD certificate you claim, and a way to pay the fee online.
