About this tool
Write a visa cover letter for Schengen, USA, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Turkey or South Korea, with the details each embassy expects.
A cover letter that matches what each embassy looks for. Pick a country, fill in your trip details, and copy a clean letter with the right sections and supporting document list. This page brings together 10 separate visa cover letter builder pages (Australia, Canada, Malaysia, Schengen, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey, USA, Vietnam) so you can compare them without hunting for the right one.
Open Visa Cover Letter Builder on AltFTool — it loads instantly in your browser.
Choose your country at the top: Australia, Canada, Malaysia, Schengen and 6 more. On a phone it is a drop-down list.
Fill in the visa cover letter builder for that country; each of the 10 options keeps its own rules, data and defaults.
Read the result, then switch country to compare. The page link keeps your country (?v=australia), so you can bookmark or share it.
Australia, Canada, Malaysia and the rest sit behind one picker, so switching country takes a tap instead of a new search.
Every country keeps its own rules, numbers and defaults rather than one generic template.
The link remembers the country you picked, so a bookmark or a shared link opens straight on it.
10: Australia, Canada, Malaysia, Schengen, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey, USA, Vietnam. Pick one at the top of the tool; the page link updates (for example ?v=australia) so you can bookmark or share that exact view.
A Visitor visa is normally granted with a stay period of 3, 6 or 12 months from each entry, and the grant notice states which. The visa may also carry condition 8558, which stops a non-resident staying more than 12 months in any 18-month period, so back-to-back long visits can breach it even when each individual stay is allowed.
CAD 100 per person for the visitor visa, with a maximum of CAD 500 for a family of five or more applying at the same time, plus biometrics at CAD 85 per person to a maximum of CAD 170 per family of two or more. Biometrics are reused for ten years, so you may not have to pay that part again.
Up to 30 days per entry, and the exact expiry is endorsed on the pass by the immigration officer at the counter — that endorsed date governs, not your ticket. Staying longer requires an extension applied for at an Immigration Department office before the pass expires.
Up to 90 days in any 180-day period. The Schengen Borders Code counts the day you enter and the day you leave as full days of presence, and the 180-day period rolls backwards from each day you are in the area — so the 90 days are shared across every Schengen country, not per country.
The processing fee is SGD 30 per applicant and is not refunded if the application is unsuccessful. ICA advises applying well ahead of travel — commonly at least a week — because visas are never issued at the checkpoint and processing time varies with volume.
Up to 90 days, and the day of entry counts as the first day. The exact period of sojourn is stamped on entry. Do not submit a C-3 itinerary over 90 days in reliance on a later extension; shorten the itinerary or ask the Korean mission which visa category fits the intended stay. Any change after entry is case-specific and never automatic, and overstaying carries fines and entry bans.
A single-entry Tourist Visa (TR) is stamped for 60 days from the date of entry, and that stay can be extended once by 30 further days at a Thai Immigration office for a fee of THB 1,900. A multiple-entry Tourist Visa is valid for six months from issue, but each separate entry is still limited to 60 days.
At least 60 days beyond the duration of stay granted by your visa, visa exemption or residence permit. For a 90-day stay that means roughly 150 days of validity from your entry date, and this builder calculates the exact date your passport must remain valid to — airlines check this at check-in, which is where most travellers are stopped.
It is not required, and many interviews are decided in a few minutes on your answers rather than your paperwork. It is still worth carrying: it organises your dates, funding and ties on one page, and a US host or employer can attach it to their own invitation letter.
Up to 90 days, single or multiple entry, with a valid-from and valid-to date you request on the application. You cannot enter before the valid-from date and must leave on or before the valid-to date — the visa is not extended by arriving late, so ask for the full period you need up front.
