About this tool
Estimate the full visa cost for Indian applicants for the USA, Schengen, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Turkey and South Korea, including service fees.
The real cost of a visa, not just the fee. Pick a country to add up the visa fee, VFS or service charges, insurance, photos and courier for your trip. This page brings together 10 separate visa cost estimator pages (Australia, Canada, Malaysia, Schengen, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey, USA, Vietnam) so you can compare them without hunting for the right one.
Open Visa Cost Estimator on AltFTool — it loads instantly in your browser.
Choose your country at the top: Australia, Canada, Malaysia, Schengen and 6 more. On a phone it is a drop-down list.
Fill in the visa cost estimator for that country; each of the 10 options keeps its own rules, data and defaults.
Read the result, then switch country to compare. The page link keeps your country (?v=australia), so you can bookmark or share it.
Australia, Canada, Malaysia and the rest sit behind one picker, so switching country takes a tap instead of a new search.
Every country keeps its own rules, numbers and defaults rather than one generic template.
The link remembers the country you picked, so a bookmark or a shared link opens straight on it.
10: Australia, Canada, Malaysia, Schengen, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey, USA, Vietnam. Pick one at the top of the tool; the page link updates (for example ?v=australia) so you can bookmark or share that exact view.
One person is the primary applicant and pays the Base Application Charge; every other person included in the same application pays an Additional Applicant Charge, at a higher rate for anyone aged 18 and over and a lower rate for children under 18. The parts are added together into a single Visa Application Charge, which is why including family on one application is cheaper than lodging separate ones.
The IRCC visitor visa fee is CAD 100 a person, with a maximum of CAD 500 for a family of five or more applying at the same time and place, plus a biometrics fee of CAD 85 a person capped at CAD 170 for a family of two or more. On top of that you pay the visa application centre's service charge, photographs and any courier — all payable in rupees in India.
Not for a short visit. Malaysia has waived the visa requirement for Indian passport holders for social and business visits of up to 30 days, an arrangement introduced on 1 December 2023 and since extended. It is a policy with an announced expiry rather than a permanent entitlement, so confirm it still applies on the Immigration Department of Malaysia website before booking.
The short-stay Schengen visa fee is EUR 90 for anyone aged twelve and over, EUR 45 for children aged six to eleven, and free for children under six. Those amounts took effect on 11 June 2024 under Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/1415 and are payable in local currency at the exchange rate the mission publishes, so the rupee figure moves month to month.
The entry visa processing fee is SGD 30 per applicant and there is no issuance fee, so a family of four pays SGD 120 in government charges. Indian passport holders submit through an authorised visa agent or a Singapore Overseas Mission, and that agent adds its own administrative charge, typically a few hundred rupees per applicant.
The consular fee is USD 40 for a single entry with an intended stay of 90 days or less, USD 60 for a single entry over 90 days, USD 70 for a double entry and USD 90 for a multiple entry. Missions collect the equivalent in local currency at their own published rate, and a visa application centre adds its own service charge on top of the consular fee.
Since 26 July 2024 Thailand has allowed passport holders from a long list of countries, India included, to enter without a visa for tourism and short business visits. The list and the length of stay it grants are reviewed periodically, so confirm the current position with the Royal Thai Embassy before booking — visa exemption is a policy decision, not a permanent entitlement.
Yes, but only as a conditional e-Visa: the applicant must hold a valid visa or residence permit from the Schengen area, the United States, the United Kingdom or Ireland, and it must still be valid on the day of entry. Applicants without one of those documents apply for a sticker visa at a Turkish consulate instead, which takes longer and costs more.
The MRV application fee is USD 185 for tourist, business, student, journalist, transit and crew visas, USD 205 for petition-based H, L, O, P, Q and R classes, USD 265 for K fiance(e) visas and USD 315 for E treaty trader and investor visas. These rates have applied since 17 June 2023, and most Indian passport holders pay no additional visa issuance or reciprocity fee on approval.
The e-visa fee is USD 25 for a single entry and USD 50 for multiple entry, both valid for up to 90 days since the expansion that took effect on 15 August 2023. The fee is paid online when the application is submitted, is not refunded if the application is rejected, and normal processing takes about three working days.
