How to make a date safety plan
- 1Write down who you are meeting: their name and the profile or app you matched on.
- 2Add the venue name and address, and the date and time you are meeting.
- 3Choose a trusted contact and a check-in time when they should hear from you.
- 4Plan your own transport there and back.
- 5Agree a code word that means 'call me now with an excuse to leave'.
- 6Send the plan to your contact before you leave, and message them when you are home.
