A Vietnam visa cost estimator prices a visa the way Vietnamese immigration actually does — by number of entries and length of validity rather than by purpose of travel — and converts the dollar fee into rupees along with photographs, insurance and any agency charge. The published bands run from USD 25 for a single entry of up to 90 days and USD 50 for multiple entry over the same period, through USD 95, USD 135 and USD 145 for longer multiple-entry visas, up to USD 155 for a five-year visa, with a concessional flat rate for applicants under 14. It also separates the government fee from the sponsoring agency's pre-approval letter, which is a commercial charge that visa on arrival applicants pay on top.

The e-visa fee is USD 25 for a single entry and USD 50 for multiple entry, both valid for up to 90 days since the expansion that took effect on 15 August 2023. The fee is paid online when the application is submitted, is not refunded if the application is rejected, and normal processing takes about three working days.

The e-visa carries only the government fee, so it is generally cheaper unless you need a validity band the e-visa does not cover.
No. Applicants under 14 pay a concessional flat fee of USD 25 whatever the validity band, so a child on a one-year multiple-entry visa pays USD 25 where an adult pays USD 135. Children still need their own visa and their own application even when they travel on a parent's itinerary.
A 90-day visa permits a stay of up to 90 days from the date of entry, and with a multiple-entry visa you may leave and re-enter freely within that window. Validity and permitted stay are the same length in these bands, but the immigration officer at the border still records the actual permitted stay, so check the stamp before leaving the counter.
