About this tool
Price a Thai e-Visa, extension of stay or visa exemption trip in rupees, including the capped overstay fine.
A Thailand visa cost estimator prices whichever entry route actually applies to a trip — visa exemption, a single or multiple entry tourist e-Visa, a non-immigrant visa, an extension of stay, or a re-entry permit — and converts the Thai baht fees into rupees alongside agent charges, photographs and insurance. It uses the published consular fee schedule together with the two Immigration Bureau rules travellers most often need: an extension of stay costs 1,900 baht per person per application, and an overstay is fined 500 baht a day up to a statutory ceiling of 20,000 baht. Since many nationalities including Indian passport holders can now enter Thailand for tourism without any visa, the tool starts from exemption and lets you switch route.

Since 26 July 2024 Thailand has allowed passport holders from a long list of countries, India included, to enter without a visa for tourism and short business visits. The list and the length of stay it grants are reviewed periodically, so confirm the current position with the Royal Thai Embassy before booking — visa exemption is a policy decision, not a permanent entitlement.
The consular fee is 1,000 baht for a single-entry tourist visa and 5,000 baht for a multiple-entry tourist visa, with transit visas at 800 baht and non-immigrant visas at 2,000 baht single entry or 5,000 baht multiple entry. Embassies may collect the equivalent in local currency at their own rate, and the official e-Visa platform can add a payment charge on top.
Overstaying is fined 500 baht for each day, capped at 20,000 baht no matter how long the overstay runs. The fine is not the whole penalty: overstays of 90 days or more discovered when you leave voluntarily attract a re-entry ban of a year or longer, and being arrested for an overstay carries longer bans, so an overstay should be raised with an immigration lawyer rather than simply paid.
Yes. The Thailand Digital Arrival Card, required from 1 May 2025, is submitted free of charge through the official Immigration Bureau website within three days before arrival. Sites charging a fee to file it are third-party resellers, and no payment is needed to complete the form yourself.
