Not reliably. Weight and volume are different measures and the conversion depends on the product's density, so the calculator keeps weight, volume and count as separate modes.
Only when you will use the whole pack. For perishables, storage-limited items or products you are trying for the first time, waste from an unfinished large pack can easily cancel out the per-unit saving.
