This checklist assembles a Railway Recruitment Board application: the details the online form asks for, the pixel and file-size limits on the photograph and signature uploads, the certificates each post group needs, and what the examination fee actually costs once the CBT-1 refund lands. RRB CENs charge ₹500 with ₹400 refunded to candidates who appear in the first Computer Based Test, and ₹250 fully refunded to candidates in the concession bracket — so the real cost is ₹100 for most male General and OBC candidates and nothing for everyone else, before bank charges.

₹500 for candidates outside the concession bracket, of which ₹400 is refunded — less bank charges — to anyone who appears in the first stage CBT. Candidates in the concession bracket pay ₹250 and get the whole ₹250 back on the same condition. Miss the CBT and nothing is refunded at all.
SC and ST candidates, all women, transgender candidates, ex-servicemen, persons with benchmark disability, candidates from notified minority communities, and candidates of Economically Backward Class. EBC here means annual family income below ₹50,000 evidenced by an income certificate or a BPL card, and it is purely a fee concession — it gives no reservation.
Recent CENs ask for a colour photograph of 35 mm x 45 mm as a JPEG of roughly 20 to 50 KB, and a signature scanned as a JPEG of roughly 10 to 40 KB, signed in running hand in black or blue ink on white paper. A signature written in block capitals is treated as invalid and the application is rejected, so check that before you upload. Confirm the exact bands against your own CEN.
No. A candidate may submit only one application against a CEN and must choose a single RRB. Multiple applications against the same CEN result in all of them being rejected and the candidate being debarred from future recruitment, so pick the RRB carefully before you submit.
