The NEET Exam Day Checklist collects the NEET (UG) rules that decide whether you get into the hall: the printed admit card with a pasted photograph and self-declaration, a spare photograph, an original photo ID, and the NTA dress code of light half-sleeved clothes, no jewellery or metallic items, and low-heeled slippers rather than shoes. It works the clock backwards from entry closing 30 minutes before the paper, pulls arrival forward by 90 minutes for candidates in customary dress, and converts an attempt plan into marks under the +4 and −1 scheme across 180 questions.

Light clothes with half sleeves and no large buttons, brooches, badges or flowers, with slippers or low-heeled sandals instead of shoes. Jewellery and metallic items of any kind are not allowed, and candidates in customary dress are asked to reach the centre 90 minutes before the paper so frisking can be completed.
Thirty minutes before the paper begins — 1:30 pm for a 2:00 pm start. Candidates who arrive after entry closes are not admitted, so plan travel around that time rather than around the start of the paper.
The admit card printed on A4 with a passport photograph pasted on it, the self-declaration or undertaking that is completed at the centre, one spare passport photograph for the attendance sheet, and an original valid photo identity document. Carry a PwBD certificate too if you have been granted a scribe or compensatory time.
A transparent water bottle is allowed. Food is not, with one exception: diabetic candidates may carry sugar tablets or fruit such as a banana or an apple. Packaged food and snacks remain barred for everyone.
