About this tool
Build a compliant paid-partnership disclosure for each platform and content type, with placement rules and on-screen duration.
This generator turns a brand deal into the exact disclosure wording a regulator expects: the permitted label, where in the post it has to sit, and how long it must stay on screen in a video. It encodes ASCI's Guidelines for Influencer Advertising in Digital Media for India, the FTC Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255) for the United States, and the CAP Code as enforced by the ASA and CMA for the United Kingdom. Useful for creators, agencies and brand teams who need the label right before the post goes live rather than after a complaint.

India, the US, the UK and the EU each get the label their own code allows, not a generic hashtag.
ASCI's 2-second, one-third and full-length video rules are applied to your actual running time.
It warns when your lead-in text pushes the label past the point the platform cuts the caption.
Under ASCI's influencer guidelines in India, a video shorter than 15 seconds needs the label visible for at least 2 seconds; a video between 15 seconds and 2 minutes needs it for at least one third of the running time; and a video longer than 2 minutes needs it displayed for the whole time the brand is being promoted. Live streams need the label displayed throughout the promoted segment.
#ad is accepted by the FTC, the ASA and ASCI as a label, provided it is upfront and not buried in a block of hashtags. For affiliate commissions and gifted products the FTC prefers a plain sentence such as 'I earn a commission if you buy through this link', because a bare hashtag does not tell a reader what the connection actually is.
ASCI permits a closed list: Advertisement, Ad, Sponsored, Collaboration, Partnership, Employee and Free gift. They may carry a # or @ prefix, must appear upfront in the first two lines of the post, and must be in the same language as the advertisement. Words outside that list do not count as a valid label.
Not on its own. Both the ASA and the FTC have found the platform label insufficient in cases where it was easy to miss, because it can be small, may not appear on every surface and does not travel when the post is reshared. Use the platform tool and a written label in the caption.
