Azerbaijan's ASAN e-visa is a single-entry document that permits a stay of up to 30 days and must be used within 90 days of issue, and any stay longer than 15 days must be registered with the State Migration Service within 15 days of arrival. Hotels normally register their guests automatically, but a rented flat or staying with friends does not, and the fine for missing it is collected when you try to leave the country.
At least three months beyond the end of your intended stay, counted from your departure date rather than your arrival date. That means a longer trip needs more remaining validity than a short one — a passport that clears the rule for a week's visit can fail it for a month's.
An Armenian entry stamp on its own is not a bar. What does bar you is entering the Nagorno-Karabakh region without Azerbaijani authorisation: travellers who do are declared persona non grata and refused entry to Azerbaijan.
