Open CryptPadWetpaint's hosted wikis were the easiest way for a club, class or fan community to build a shared site — a WYSIWYG editor and no markup to learn. The company pivoted to entertainment publishing, and in 2015 the wiki service was closed and the communities dispersed. The domain now runs a celebrity gossip site with no connection to the original product.
