FreeConvert meters by time, not files: 20 conversion minutes a day and 5 minutes per file. That is a sensible way to price server encoding, and it is exactly what makes them the right choice for long video — GPU encoding on Pro and files up to 20 GB on Scale are things no browser will do. For a 30-second clip, a GIF, or a batch of images and PDFs, the meter is pure friction, and those jobs run locally without one.
