There is no free-tier complaint to make: the whole site is free with no account. Where AltFTool differs is coverage and locale. Their catalogue is about 195 calculators across four sections, weighted heavily toward US personal finance. Ours is much larger and includes region-specific cases theirs does not model at all.

Not commercially — it is entirely free with no signup. The limits are scope: roughly 195 calculators across four sections, no API, and no file handling of any kind.

Why would I use AltFTool instead?

Coverage. If your calculation is region-specific — Indian income tax slabs, CGPA-to-percentage, GST, board exam percentages — Calculator.net does not model it and we do.

Do the answers differ?

They should not. Standard finance and health formulas are standard. Where results diverge, it is normally a difference in assumptions — compounding frequency, rounding, or which regional rule applies.
