Calculator.net has been doing this since 2007, and its explanatory articles — formulas, worked examples, review by financial advisors and doctors — are the reason those pages rank and stay ranked. There is no free-tier complaint to make: the whole site is free with no account. Where AltFTool differs is coverage and locale. Their catalogue is about 195 calculators across four sections, weighted heavily toward US personal finance. Ours is much larger and includes region-specific cases theirs does not model at all.
