The Baby Name Generator is a browsable, filterable set of 42 curated baby names, each shown with its linguistic origin and its meaning, that you narrow by gender, by any of 13 origins, or by typing part of a name. Expectant parents get a shortlist they can build up with the heart icon and copy out one name at a time, rather than an endless scroll of names with no context. Every entry carries the meaning alongside it, so a name never lands on the list purely on the strength of how it sounds.

Narrow the built-in list of 42 names from the Filters row: the Any, Male, Female and Neutral buttons, the origin dropdown that starts at Any Origin and covers 13 origins from Irish to Scottish, and the 'Search names...' box that matches the name text as you type.
Read each card — the name, then its gender and origin in small caps, then the meaning underneath, such as Liam / male · Irish / 'Strong-willed warrior'. If the filters exclude everything the page says 'No names match your filters. Try adjusting the criteria.'
Tap the heart on a card to add that name to Your Favorites, a panel that counts your picks and gives each one a × to remove it, and hover a card to reveal its Copy link, which puts the name on the clipboard and reads 'Copied' for about a second.
