A bag that clears the size gauge but exceeds the weight, or vice versa, is flagged before you travel.
One small personal bag measuring up to 40 × 20 × 25 cm, which must fit under the seat in front of you. It is included on every fare including the cheapest, and no weight is published for it — the test is whether it fits the gauge. Anything larger has to be covered by Priority & 2 Cabin Bags or checked into the hold.
The larger cabin bag included with Priority & 2 Cabin Bags may be up to 10 kg and 55 × 40 × 20 cm, and it travels in the overhead locker alongside your small under-seat bag. Without that add-on the small bag is the only item you may take into the cabin, so a wheelie case will be refused at the gate.
No. Checked baggage is always bought separately, in a 10 kg size or a 20 kg size, and it is cheaper added to the booking than at the airport. Watch the size difference: the 10 kg bag is limited to the same 55 × 40 × 20 cm as a cabin bag, while the 20 kg bag may be up to 119 × 119 × 81 cm.
Weight above the purchased allowance is charged per kilogram at the airport desk, at a flat rate that varies by market, so a 23 kg bag on a 20 kg allowance is billed for 3 kg. Separately, no single piece over 32 kg is accepted at all, whatever you have paid, because that is a manual-handling limit for ground crew.
