About this tool
Unlimited practice questions for long division, linear equations and percentages, with instant checking.
Pick a topic and difficulty, answer questions and see what you got right. This page brings together 3 separate math practice pages (Division, Equation, Percentage) so you can compare them without hunting for the right one.
Open Math Practice on AltFTool — it loads instantly in your browser.
Choose your topic at the top: Division, Equation, Percentage. On a phone it is a drop-down list.
Fill in the math practice for that topic; each of the 3 options keeps its own rules, data and defaults.
Read the result, then switch topic to compare. The page link keeps your topic (?v=division), so you can bookmark or share it.
Division, Equation, Percentage and the rest sit behind one picker, so switching topic takes a tap instead of a new search.
Every topic keeps its own rules, numbers and defaults rather than one generic template.
The link remembers the topic you picked, so a bookmark or a shared link opens straight on it.
3: Division, Equation, Percentage. Pick one at the top of the tool; the page link updates (for example ?v=division) so you can bookmark or share that exact view.
Start on Beginner, which uses divisors from 1 to 10 and quotients from 1 to 10 — the standard division-facts table. Easy moves to divisors 2-12, Medium 5-25, Hard 10-50, and Expert 12-99.
Within 0.05 of the true value. That means 2.33 is accepted where the exact answer is 7/3, so you can type a rounded decimal instead of a fraction. For quadratics with two roots, either root alone is accepted, or both separated by a comma or space.
Divide the sale price by (1 − discount ÷ 100). A $150 item after 25% off started at 150 ÷ 0.75 = $200. This is the 'Find Original Price' question type, and it is the one most people get wrong because subtracting 25% from the sale price gives the wrong answer.
