Kerala DHSE Plus Two percentage, A+ to E letter grades, grade points and GPA on the nine-point higher secondary scale.
The Kerala Plus Two Percentage Tool rebuilds the percentage a Kerala Plus Two (DHSE higher secondary) marksheet never prints: total marks divided by the grand total — 1200 across both years at 200 marks a subject, or 600 for the Plus Two year alone — times 100. It also assigns each subject its letter grade on Kerala's nine-point scale (A+ at 90% down to E below 20%) and the GPA out of 9. It is for Kerala students filling degree, professional-course and out-of-state application forms that demand a percentage instead of grades.

Divide your total marks by the grand total and multiply by 100 — the marks, not the letter grades, are what count. The combined higher secondary certificate totals 1200 (six subjects, 200 marks each across two years); the Plus Two year alone totals 600. For example, 1041 out of 1200 is 86.75%.
90% and above of the subject's marks. The full nine-point scale is A+ 90-100, A 80-89, B+ 70-79, B 60-69, C+ 50-59, C 40-49, D+ 30-39, D 20-29 and E below 20, with grade points from 9 down to 1.
D+ — that is 30% — in every subject. Kerala additionally requires the theory component alone to reach that minimum, separately from continuous evaluation marks, so a subject total just above 30% can still fail if the theory paper fell short. Confirm borderline cases on the official grade card.
Out of 9. Kerala's higher secondary scale tops out at grade point 9 for A+, so a student with all A+ grades has a GPA of exactly 9. Do not confuse it with CBSE's old 10-point CGPA — multiplying a Kerala GPA by 9.5 is not a valid conversion.
