Turn your Karnataka II PUC subject marks into an aggregate percentage, division class and a pass check on the 35% rule.
Karnataka II PUC percentage is the plain aggregate — total marks obtained divided by the grand total of 600 across six subjects of 100 marks each, times 100. This calculator applies that formula, awards the class on the board's bands (Distinction 85% and above, First class 60%, Second class 50%, Pass class 35%), and separately checks the rule that trips students up: you must also clear 35% in every individual subject, not just on the aggregate. It reports the optional-subject percentage too, since many degree colleges count only the four non-language subjects.

Add the marks of all six subjects and divide by 600, then multiply by 100. A total of 528 out of 600 is 88%. Each subject is out of 100, so there is no weighting and no dropping of the lowest subject.
35% — that is 35 marks out of 100 in each subject, and 35% on the aggregate. Falling below 35 in even one subject means you are referred for that subject regardless of how high the overall percentage is.
85% and above is Distinction. First class starts at 60%, Second class at 50% and Pass class at 35%. The bands apply to the aggregate over all six subjects.
Yes. In science and computer subjects the 100 marks are split into theory and practical, commonly 70 plus 30, and the subject total including practicals is what enters the aggregate. The split changes nothing about the percentage arithmetic.
