Provider Auditing & Fee Verification
Every visa provider and corridor entry indexed on VisaScout follows a strict verification lifecycle:
- Independent Rate Audits: We evaluate public rate cards, platform convenience fees, and biometric appointment surcharges across top desks (Atlys, VFS, BLS, iVisa, etc.).
- Official Consular Baseline: Government fees are cross-referenced with official consular gazettes and ministerial notices.
- Unbiased Display: No provider can pay to artificially inflate their ranking, suppress competing fees, or bypass editorial scrutiny.
GDPR Compliance (EEA & UK)
For travelers in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, we comply fully with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Lawful Basis: Route delivery operates under legitimate interest for public transparency and consumer price education.
- No Profiling: We do not construct applicant profiles or track individual passport travel histories.
- Right of Erasure: Any voluntary inquiry records can be inspected or purged upon request.
CCPA & CPRA Consumer Rights

Fee Correction Protocol
If a visa provider updates service charges or an embassy modifies consular rates, our team publishes updated fee indices promptly. Submit rate corrections to curiosity@altftools.com.
