TemplateForge

Polished website designs you can preview live and download free.

TemplateForge is a free gallery of open-source website templates from Start Bootstrap and HTML5 UP that you can preview live in the browser. It is for developers, designers and founders who want a starting layout for a portfolio, blog, landing page or admin panel. For each template you can read the licence, open the source, and download a Markdown blueprint of its structure.

FAQ

TemplateForge questions

Are the templates free?

Yes. They are open-source templates under MIT or CC BY 3.0 licences, and previewing them costs nothing. CC BY 3.0 templates need the original credit kept.

Do I need an account?

No account is needed. Downloading a Markdown blueprint asks for a valid email address, which is remembered in your browser for later downloads.

What exactly do I download?

A Markdown (.md) blueprint describing the template's details, page sections, design system and responsive behaviour. The original template files are available from the linked source.

Can I see how a template looks on mobile?

Yes. The preview lets you switch between desktop, tablet and mobile views.
