How to make a typewriter letter

  1. Write the letter

    Fill in the date, greeting and body. Leave a blank line between paragraphs, just as you would on a real typewriter.

  2. Sign it

    Add a sign-off, a signature in flowing script and an optional typed name or title underneath.

  3. Choose paper and ribbon

    Pick cream bond, lined, aged or onion-skin paper, a black, red or blue ribbon, and one of four typewriter-style typefaces.

  4. Add details and download

    Turn on the letterhead, fold creases, coffee ring or a rubber stamp, press Type it to see it typed out, then download a PNG or JPG.
