Privacy Policy

1. Privacy Overview & Philosophy

At Fodey Guide Maker Studio (operated by AltFTool), we hold that the best way to safeguard user privacy is to not collect personal information in the first place. Most online image generators send your text inputs, custom names, and images across the network to be processed in cloud containers.

Fodey operates differently: all layout calculations, typography rasterization, and visual generation occur directly within your browser viewport.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

We do not harvest or retain your creative content:

3. Voluntary Information (Emails)

You may optionally provide your email address to receive creative toolkit updates, retro asset packs, or platform announcements via our email modal or subscription forms.

• Explicit Consent: We only email you if you explicitly submit your email address.

• One-Click Unsubscribe: Every email includes an immediate, automated unsubscribe link.

• No Reselling: We never sell, rent, or lease your contact information to third parties or brokers.

4. Client-Side Browser Rendering

When you click "Generate Newspaper" or "Download Wanted Poster," the process happens locally:

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use cookies and browser localStorage strictly to:

• Remember your cookie consent preference (via the FodeyCookieBanner).

• Retain your temporary editor draft in your browser during active sessions.

• Prevent repeated popup modals once you have subscribed or dismissed them.

6. Infrastructure & Hosting

Fodey Guide web assets, CSS, and generator scripts are hosted on high-performance CDN networks (such as AWS Amplify / CloudFront) to ensure rapid loading. Standard encrypted web server logs (IP address, browser user-agent, timestamp) may be temporarily processed by infrastructure providers for DDoS mitigation and uptime stability.

7. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on your jurisdiction (such as the European Union or California), you have rights including:

• The right to access and receive a copy of any personal data we hold about you (e.g. newsletter subscription).

• The right to rectify inaccurate records or request total deletion ("Right to be Forgotten").

• The right to opt-out of email notifications at any time.

8. Children's Online Privacy (COPPA)

We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13. Because our tools operate locally in the browser without registration, young creators can safely experiment with retro visual designs without account creation.

9. Policy Updates & Contact

We may update this policy to reflect platform updates or statutory requirements. For inquiries, data deletion requests, or privacy questions, contact our data protection team:
