AOL Mail automation inside your signed-in browser

4 min read

AOL Mail automation lets the extension work through unread messages in an AOL Mail tab you are already signed in to. AOL's web inbox loads messages with infinite scroll, similar to Yahoo Mail, so the extension scrolls and processes matching rows as they appear. It never asks for your AOL password.

How AOL scanning works

AOL Mail and Yahoo Mail share a similar web interface, and both use infinite scroll. The extension reads visible unread rows, scrolls to load more and stops at your configured limit or date range.

Matching is done with the same filters as other providers: specific senders, or a campaign matched through the ESP Connector.

Why keep an AOL mailbox in your test set

Many mailing lists still include a share of AOL addresses. Keeping your own AOL mailbox subscribed to your campaigns lets you see how messages render and where they land for that audience.

  • Check rendering and links in your own campaigns
  • Compare placement against your Gmail, Outlook and Yahoo seed mailboxes
  • Review the local activity log after each run

Responsible use

Use the extension only on AOL mailboxes you own. The provider's terms of service apply, automated activity may be restricted by them, and you are responsible for how you configure runs.

Frequently asked questions

Is AOL handled the same way as Yahoo Mail?

Both use infinite scroll in the web inbox, so the scanning approach is similar: read visible unread rows, scroll, repeat until limits are reached.

Can I run AOL and Gmail automation at the same time?

Yes, if each mailbox is in its own Chrome profile. The extension supports multiple Chrome profiles, each with its own session and settings.

Does the extension store my AOL credentials?

No. It relies on the session already open in your browser and never asks for passwords.
