Phonsee: what to know before you buy

Phonsee is a subscription phone monitoring app marketed for keeping an eye on activity on a device. Important: monitoring someone's phone without their knowledge or consent can be illegal in many places. Lawful uses include parental oversight of your own minor child's device and monitoring devices you own. Check local laws, what the app can access, and the subscription terms first.

    How to Choose a VPN

A VPN encrypts the connection between your device and the VPN provider's server, which hides your traffic from your local network and changes the IP address websites see. It is a useful privacy tool, but it is not a magic shield, so it pays to know what you actually need before you subscribe.
