How BuySmart lists brands

What BuySmart is

BuySmart is a directory of brand guides. Each guide explains what a store, app or travel site sells, who it suits, general ways to save, what to check before paying, and which alternatives to consider.

BuySmart is not a coupon site. For codes and limited-time offers, use AltFTool Deals and Exclusive Deals.

How brands get listed

Our team adds brands that are widely used or that readers ask about. Some are brands we have a partner (affiliate) relationship with; others are listed simply because they are useful to compare.

Guides are written in our own words from public information on the brand's site and general consumer knowledge. We don't claim to have tested every product.

Partner links and how we earn

Some "Visit" buttons are partner links. If you buy after clicking one, the brand or an affiliate network may pay AltFTool a commission. You don't pay more because of it.

Partner links are marked rel="sponsored" for search engines and labelled "Partner link" on the page. Featured placements are labelled "Partner". A partnership never buys a better write-up: the considerations section stays in every guide.

What we never do

We don't publish coupon codes we can't confirm, invent discounts, show star ratings or review counts we didn't collect, or add "verified" badges.

We don't state prices in guides, because they change often and vary by country. Always confirm the current price, renewal terms and refund policy on the brand's own site.

Sensitive categories

For phone-tracking and monitoring apps we only describe lawful uses, such as parental controls on your own child's device. Monitoring another adult's phone without consent can be illegal.

For earn-money-online sites we say plainly that earnings are usually small.

Corrections

Every guide shows the month it was last reviewed (currently November 2026). If something is out of date or wrong, tell us through our contact page (altftool.com/policypages/contact) and we will fix it.
