How it works
The calculator starts from what you paid and applies three adjustments. First, age: each category keeps a share of its value after the first year and a slower share for every year after that. Second, condition: a factor for each of the four marketplace grades. Third, extras: a small addition for the original box and accessories and for the bill or warranty card. The result never drops below a floor for the category and never goes above what you paid.
The range runs from 88% to 108% of the middle estimate: the bottom is a quick-sale price, the top is what a patient seller might get. Prices are rounded to ₹10, ₹50 or ₹100.

These numbers are our own assumptions from how second-hand prices generally behave, not a survey of sales. They are deliberately simple so you can see exactly how the estimate was made and adjust it with what you know about your item.
Questions
How accurate is the resale price estimate?
It is a rule of thumb, not market data. It does not know your exact model, local demand or whether a new model just launched. Use it as a starting range and compare with similar live listings.
Why can the estimate never be above what I paid?
A used item rarely sells for more than its original price, so the calculator caps the top of the range at your purchase price. Rare collectibles are the exception; price those from real sales.
Does the calculator send my data anywhere?
No. The calculation runs in your browser and nothing you enter is sent or saved.
Which condition should I choose?
Use the same four grades as AltF Marketplace listings. If you are between two, choose the lower one; buyers trust sellers who under-promise.
