The Teachers Day Message Generator writes Teachers Day messages in four formats — a short note, a card message, a speech opener and a social post — across English, Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Gujarati. It uses the correct greeting for the occasion you pick: 5 September, Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan's birthday, observed as Teachers' Day in India since 1962, or 5 October, World Teachers' Day, declared by UNESCO in 1994. Each message shows its character count and how many SMS segments it needs, since Indic script is sent as Unicode and fits only 70 characters per segment.

Choose a Language — English, Hindi (हिन्दी), Marathi (मराठी), Bengali (বাংলা), Tamil (தமிழ்), Telugu (తెలుగు), Kannada (ಕನ್ನಡ) or Gujarati (ગુજરાતી) — and a 'Message type' of Short note, Card message, Speech opener or Social post.
Set the Occasion to "Teachers' Day in India (5 September)" or "World Teachers' Day (5 October)", add the optional Teacher's name, 'Sign off as' and 'Subject taught' (used in the social post only), and set 'How many messages' up to 6.

5 September, the birthday of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was born on 5 September 1888 and served as India's second President. The day has been observed as Teachers' Day since 1962, when he asked that his birthday be marked as a day for teachers rather than for him.
No. World Teachers' Day is 5 October, a month later. UNESCO declared it in 1994 to mark the 1966 ILO/UNESCO Recommendation concerning the Status of Teachers, and it is observed in over a hundred countries.
Open with the honorific and the teacher's name, give the greeting, then add one specific thing they did — a topic they made clear, a habit they corrected, a time they waited for you to catch up. Close with thanks and sign with your name and class. The specific line is what stops the card reading like a template.
