Choose your scam at the top: Army officer (OLX), Fake customer care, Fake scholarship, Fake traffic challan and 6 more. On a phone it is a drop-down list.
Fill in the scam explainer for that scam; each of the 10 options keeps its own rules, data and defaults.
Read the result, then switch scam to compare. The page link keeps your scam (?v=army-officer-marketplace), so you can bookmark or share it.
Army officer (OLX), Fake customer care, Fake scholarship and the rest sit behind one picker, so switching scam takes a tap instead of a new search.
Every scam keeps its own rules, numbers and defaults rather than one generic template.
The link remembers the scam you picked, so a bookmark or a shared link opens straight on it.

No. A photograph only proves someone possesses an image, and these images circulate in bulk among scam operators. Service identity cannot be verified over chat at all, which is precisely why the claim is used to justify not meeting.
They are placed deliberately: pages are built to rank for helpline queries, ads are bought for the top slot, map and business listings accept public edits including phone-number changes, and impersonation accounts reply to public complaints within minutes. Ranking or placement is never verification.
No. Applying for and receiving a centrally funded scholarship through scholarships.gov.in is free at every stage — there is no registration, processing, verification or courier charge. Awards are paid by Direct Benefit Transfer into the student's own Aadhaar-seeded bank account, so no intermediary handles the money.
Ignore the link entirely and look the challan up yourself at echallan.parivahan.gov.in using your vehicle number, driving licence number or the challan number. A genuine e-challan appears there with the offence, location, date and a photograph. If nothing is listed against your vehicle, no challan was issued.
No. Customs does not cold-call a consignee from a personal mobile number or a free email address to demand payment. A parcel held for assessment generates written paperwork with a Postal Bill of Import or Bill of Entry number, and duty is paid through ICEGATE, at the Foreign Post Office counter, or on a licensed courier's itemised invoice.
A request for money before you have met in person. The core rule behind this checker is that no genuine marriage prospect needs money from a partner they have not met — once a financial ask appears in an unverified relationship, that combination is the defining shape of the fraud, regardless of how convincing the story around it is.
Section 56(1) of the Electricity Act, 2003 requires not less than fifteen clear days' notice in writing before supply is cut off for non-payment. Clear days exclude both the day the notice is served and the day of the proposed disconnection, so a message threatening disconnection the same evening has no legal basis whatsoever.
No. TRAI is a regulator and does not issue, verify or disconnect individual mobile connections — that is the licensed operator's job. A genuine disconnection notice comes from your own operator through their registered SMS header and app, and gives you days to act, not two hours on a recorded call telling you to press a key.
Because they are the cost of the con. Paying a few hundred rupees in genuine, withdrawable commission is what makes the first deposit feel safe, and it is trivially cheap against a deposit ladder that runs into tens of thousands.
No. A UPI PIN authorises a debit from your account and nothing else. Anyone sending you money only needs your UPI ID or the mobile number linked to it, and the credit arrives with no action from you at all.
