About this tool
Convert SPPU CGPA to percentage, turn course marks into grade points and build a credit-weighted CGPA.
This converter turns a Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) CGPA into an equivalent percentage using the linear rule your faculty applies — the credit-system equivalence percentage = (CGPA − 0.75) × 10 stated in SPPU circular 322 of 2020, the plain CGPA × 10 quoted by several non-engineering faculties, or the UGC's CGPA × 9.5. It also works backwards from a percentage, converts course marks into SPPU letter grades and grade points, and builds a credit-weighted CGPA from semester SGPAs — everything a placement or higher-studies form asks for.

Offers circular 322's (CGPA − 0.75) × 10, the plain × 10 and the UGC × 9.5 side by side instead of assuming one.
Converts CGPA to percentage and percentage back to CGPA under the same rule, so any form's format is covered.
Maps marks to SPPU's 10-point letter scale (O to F) and builds a credit-weighted CGPA from courses or semesters.
For the credit system (most engineering programmes), SPPU's stated equivalence is percentage = (CGPA − 0.75) × 10, per circular 322 of 2020 — so a CGPA of 8.2 becomes 74.5%. Several non-engineering faculties quote a plain CGPA × 10, and some external forms demand the UGC's CGPA × 9.5; use the rule your marksheet or the receiving institution names.
67.5% under the credit-system rule (7.5 − 0.75) × 10, 75% under a plain × 10, and 71.25% under UGC's × 9.5. The spread is why you should state which formula you used whenever a form asks for a converted percentage.
70% and above by the Maharashtra convention, which corresponds to a CGPA of about 7.75 under the credit-system conversion. First Class starts at 60%, Higher Second Class at 55%, Second Class at 50% and Pass Class at 40% on the converted percentage.
On the 10-point credit-system scale: O (10) for 90-100, A+ (9) for 80-89, A (8) for 70-79, B+ (7) for 60-69, B (6) for 55-59, C (5) for 50-54, P (4) for 40-49 and F (0) below 40. Boundaries can differ by faculty and pattern, so confirm against the legend printed on your own grade card.
