This countdown tracks RRB NTPC, Group D, ALP and JE stage dates and converts the days remaining into a preparation phase and a daily study split. As the window closes, the share of the day given to new chapters falls from 60 percent to nothing while mocks rise from 10 percent to half the day, following a straight line through your preparation window. It also applies the one third negative marking used in every RRB computer based test to show what a given attempt count and accuracy actually produce as a net score.

Net scores use the one third deduction RRB applies, not a gross correct count.
One third of the marks assigned to a question is deducted for each wrong answer in every RRB computer based test, and unattempted questions cost nothing. Break-even accuracy is therefore 25 percent: at exactly one correct in four, guessing adds nothing at all to your score.
CBT 1 is 100 questions for 100 marks in 90 minutes, split as 40 General Awareness, 30 Mathematics and 30 General Intelligence and Reasoning. CBT 2 is 120 questions for 120 marks in 90 minutes with the same three areas at 50, 35 and 35 questions, after which the post decides whether a typing skill test or a computer based aptitude test follows.
The Group D single stage computer based test carries 100 questions for 100 marks in 90 minutes: 30 General Intelligence and Reasoning, 25 General Science, 25 Mathematics and 20 General Awareness and Current Affairs. Qualifying candidates then face the physical efficiency test, document verification and a medical examination.
