About this tool
A practical crypto / invest tool for managing investor risk profile quiz workflows efficiently.
The Investor Risk Profile Quiz scores 10 weighted questions — time horizon, reaction to a 30% drawdown, objective, experience, windfall allocation, volatility tolerance, loss preparedness, volatile-asset share, emergency cushion and stance on new protocols — out of 100 and places you in one of four bands: Conservative (0–25), Moderate/Balanced (26–50), Active Growth (51–75) or Aggressive Speculator (76–100). Each answer carries a score from 1 to 10, so the result reflects both your appetite and your actual capacity to take risk. You get a named profile, an illustrative asset mix and three practical pointers for that band.

The result names your band — Conservative 0-25, Moderate/Balanced 26-50, Active Growth 51-75 or Aggressive Speculator 76-100 — beside an Optimal Asset Allocation you can resize with the portfolio slider from $1,000 to $500,000; Retake Assessment clears the answers and starts over
Questions on emergency reserves and time horizon pull your score down when the money is needed soon, so bravado alone cannot produce an aggressive profile.
Each band maps to a named allocation — for example Active Growth at 50% blue-chip, 30% high-growth altcoins, 15% stables, 5% emerging sectors — rather than a vague label.
Options score 1, 3–4, 6–8 and 10, so a single extreme answer shifts the total meaningfully instead of every question counting the same.
A total of 76 to 100 out of 100 lands in the Aggressive Speculator band. Below that, 51–75 is Active Growth, 26–50 is Moderate/Balanced and 0–25 is Conservative, with the maximum of 100 reached only by picking the highest-risk option on all 10 questions.
There are 10 questions with four options each, so it takes a couple of minutes. They span time horizon, drawdown reaction, objective, experience, windfall allocation, volatility tolerance, acceptable 12-month loss, volatile-asset share, emergency savings and attitude to unaudited protocols.
No — it is an informational self-assessment. The allocations shown are illustrations of what each risk band typically looks like, not a recommendation for your situation; talk to a licensed financial adviser before moving real money, especially if the money has a fixed deadline attached.
Because risk capacity depends on what is behind you, not just how you feel. Answering that this investment is your only reserve scores 1 on that question, while 12+ months of living costs set aside scores 10 — the same person can move a full band depending on that cushion.
