About this tool
Estimate the gold loan you can get from jewellery weight, karat purity and the lender's LTV cap, with per-gram value and repayment preview.
Gold Loan Eligibility Calculator works out how much a lender can advance against your jewellery. It converts each item's gross weight and karat purity into pure-gold equivalent, deducts stone and bead weight, values the lot at today's 24K per-gram rate, and applies the loan-to-value cap to give the eligible loan amount, the per-gram loan value and a repayment preview. Useful before you walk into a bank or NBFC branch and want a realistic number rather than a headline per-gram advert.

22K, 18K and 14K items are each converted to 24K-equivalent grams instead of being valued at face weight.
Beads, kundan and gemstones are subtracted the way a branch valuer does, so the estimate is not inflated.
See both the EMI and the interest-only-with-bullet-principal option side by side before choosing a scheme.
Regulated lenders generally cap gold loans at 75% of the value of the pledged gold. RBI's 2025 gold lending directions allow higher caps on smaller consumption loans, so ask your lender what LTV band applies to your ticket size.
Only the gold content counts. Net weight equals gross weight minus stones and beads; that is multiplied by purity (karat divided by 24) to get 24K-equivalent grams, then by the per-gram gold rate. Making charges and gemstone value are never funded.
Most use their own reference rate, commonly an average of the previous 30 days' closing price of 22K gold rather than the day's spot price. That keeps valuations stable, but it can be lower than the rate you see in the news.
Far less than for an unsecured loan, because the gold itself is the security. Lenders still run basic KYC and may check the bureau record, and a poor repayment history can affect the rate or tenure offered.
