How to use Entry Requirement Checklist

  1. 1

Open Entry Requirement Checklist on AltFTool — it loads instantly in your browser.

  2. 2

Choose your country at the top: Azerbaijan, Bhutan, Egypt, Kenya and 6 more. On a phone it is a drop-down list.

  3. 3

Fill in the entry requirement checklist for that country; each of the 10 options keeps its own rules, data and defaults.

  4. 4

Read the result, then switch country to compare. The page link keeps your country (?v=azerbaijan), so you can bookmark or share it.

Why use Entry Requirement Checklist

  • All 10 in one place

Azerbaijan, Bhutan, Egypt and the rest sit behind one picker, so switching country takes a tap instead of a new search.

  • Built for each option

Every country keeps its own rules, numbers and defaults rather than one generic template.

  • Shareable view

The link remembers the country you picked, so a bookmark or a shared link opens straight on it.

Common use cases

  • A traveller spending three weeks in Baku and the Sheki region getting the calendar date by which the State Migration Service registration has to be done, because the fine is collected at the airport on the way out.
  • A couple planning six nights in Thimphu, Punakha and Paro working out the government charges before comparing operator quotes, so they can see what part of the price is the levy and what part is the tour.
  • A family flying into Sharm El Sheikh deciding between the free Sinai permission and the USD 25 visa, once they realise a day trip to Cairo is not covered by the free stamp.
  • A safari group pricing the eTA for four adults and two children and confirming the children need their own applications even where no fee is charged.

How much does an Azerbaijan e-visa cost?

The published ASAN Visa fees have been USD 25 for the standard service, decided within three working days, and USD 60 for the urgent service, decided within three hours. Both give a single-entry visa permitting a stay of up to 30 days, usable within 90 days of issue. Apply on the official portal — resellers charge more for the same document.

How much is Bhutan's Sustainable Development Fee?

USD 100 per person per night for international visitors, the reduced rate in force since 1 September 2023 in place of the USD 200 set by the Tourism Levy Act of Bhutan, 2022. Indian nationals pay Nu. 1,200 per person per night. Children aged 6 to 11 pay half, and children under 6 pay nothing.

How much is a visa for Egypt and where do I get it?

The single-entry tourist visa has been USD 25, available either on arrival as a sticker bought at the bank kiosk before immigration, or in advance on the official Egyptian e-visa portal. A multiple-entry e-visa valid six months has been USD 60. Both permit a stay of up to 30 days. Use only the government site — lookalike agencies charge several times the real fee.

Does Kenya still require a visa?

No, but it requires an Electronic Travel Authorisation instead, which most visitors must obtain online before boarding. The published fee has been USD 30 plus a small processing charge. Citizens of East African Community partner states, and nationals of most African Union member states, are exempt — as are passengers who transit without passing through immigration.

Do I need a visa for the Maldives?

No. A free 30-day tourist visa is granted on arrival to holders of every nationality, with no application beforehand. What you do need is the IMUGA Traveller Declaration, submitted online within 96 hours before arrival and again within 96 hours before departure, plus a return ticket and either a confirmed booking or evidence of funds.

Can I enter Oman without a visa?

Citizens of just over a hundred countries can, for a stay of up to 14 days, under the visa waiver Oman introduced in 2021. It is conditional on holding a return or onward ticket, a confirmed hotel booking, health insurance covering the visit, and sufficient funds — commonly stated as the equivalent of OMR 500. It cannot be extended.

How long can I stay in the Philippines without a visa?

Most nationalities are admitted for 30 days under Executive Order 408, provided the passport is valid six months beyond the period of stay and a confirmed onward or return ticket is held. Brazilian and Israeli nationals get 59 days; Hong Kong and Macau SAR passport holders and several other nationalities get 14 days, and some get 7.

Do I need health insurance to enter Qatar?

Yes. Since 1 February 2023 every visitor must hold a policy covering emergency and basic healthcare for the whole stay, issued by an insurance company registered with Qatar's Ministry of Public Health. Cover from your own insurer at home does not satisfy the rule unless that company is registered in Qatar, and the standard visitor policy has been sold at around QAR 50 for 30 days.

Do I still need an ETA for Sri Lanka if the visa fee is free for my country?

Yes. The fee-waiver scheme Sri Lanka has run since October 2024 removes the payment for around forty nationalities, but an approved Electronic Travel Authorisation is still required before you board. Airlines check the approval at the gate, and the waiver list is revised by cabinet decision, so confirm it on the official immigration portal.

How long can I stay in Taiwan without a visa?

Ninety days for citizens of most European countries, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Korea; 30 days for Singaporean and Malaysian nationals; and 14 days for several South East Asian nationalities under a trial scheme Taiwan has renewed repeatedly. A visa-exempt stay is not extendable in the ordinary way, so plan the trip around it.
