About this tool
Check cabin and check-in baggage allowance for IndiGo, SpiceJet, Akasa Air, Emirates, Etihad, Singapore Airlines, Thai, Turkish, British Airways and Ryanair.
Check your bags against the airline's rules before you reach the airport. Pick an airline and fare to see the cabin and check-in allowance and whether your bags fit. This page brings together 10 separate baggage allowance checker pages (Akasa Air, British Airways, Emirates, Etihad, IndiGo, Ryanair, Singapore Airlines, SpiceJet, Thai Airways, Turkish Airlines) so you can compare them without hunting for the right one.
Open Baggage Allowance Checker on AltFTool — it loads instantly in your browser.
Choose your airline at the top: Akasa Air, British Airways, Emirates, Etihad and 6 more. On a phone it is a drop-down list.
Fill in the baggage allowance checker for that airline; each of the 10 options keeps its own rules, data and defaults.
Read the result, then switch airline to compare. The page link keeps your airline (?v=akasa-air), so you can bookmark or share it.
Akasa Air, British Airways, Emirates and the rest sit behind one picker, so switching airline takes a tap instead of a new search.
Every airline keeps its own rules, numbers and defaults rather than one generic template.
The link remembers the airline you picked, so a bookmark or a shared link opens straight on it.
10: Akasa Air, British Airways, Emirates, Etihad, IndiGo, Ryanair, Singapore Airlines, SpiceJet, Thai Airways, Turkish Airlines. Pick one at the top of the tool; the page link updates (for example ?v=akasa-air) so you can bookmark or share that exact view.
A standard Akasa Air domestic fare includes 15 kg of check-in baggage plus one cabin bag up to 7 kg measuring no more than 55 × 35 × 25 cm and one personal article up to 3 kg at 40 × 30 × 15 cm. The 15 kg is a combined total across every checked piece, so two 9 kg bags already exceed it even though each is under the limit.
Every BA fare includes two hand baggage items — a cabin bag up to 56 × 45 × 25 cm and a handbag or laptop bag up to 40 × 30 × 15 cm, each up to 23 kg. Checked allowance depends on the cabin and fare: hand-baggage-only Basic tickets include none, Euro Traveller and World Traveller include one 23 kg bag, World Traveller Plus two 23 kg bags, Club Europe and Club World two 32 kg bags, and First three 32 kg bags.
On most Emirates routes the checked allowance is a total weight — commonly 20 kg to 35 kg in Economy, 40 kg in Business and 50 kg in First — spread across any number of bags. On journeys to and from the Americas it switches to a piece allowance instead: 2 bags of 23 kg in Economy and Premium Economy, 2 bags of 32 kg in Business and First. The allowance printed on your own ticket is the one that applies.
On most routes Etihad Economy has a weight allowance — commonly between 23 kg and 35 kg depending on the fare family — shared across any number of checked bags, plus one 7 kg cabin bag at 50 × 40 × 21 cm and a small personal item. On flights to and from the United States, Canada and Brazil the allowance becomes two checked pieces of 23 kg each instead.
A standard IndiGo domestic fare includes 15 kg of check-in baggage plus one 7 kg cabin bag no larger than 55 × 35 × 25 cm and one personal article up to 3 kg and 40 × 30 × 15 cm. The 15 kg is a combined total across every checked piece, so two 8 kg bags already exceed it.
One small personal bag measuring up to 40 × 20 × 25 cm, which must fit under the seat in front of you. It is included on every fare including the cheapest, and no weight is published for it — the test is whether it fits the gauge. Anything larger has to be covered by Priority & 2 Cabin Bags or checked into the hold.
On most routes it is a total weight shared across all your bags: 25 kg on Economy Lite, 30 kg on Economy Standard, 35 kg on Economy Flexi and Premium Economy, 40 kg in Business and 50 kg in First and Suites. To and from the Americas the allowance changes to counted pieces instead — 2 bags of 23 kg in Economy and Premium Economy, 2 bags of 32 kg in Business, First and Suites.
One piece per passenger weighing up to 7 kg, with maximum dimensions of 55 × 35 × 25 cm, plus one small personal article such as a handbag or laptop bag up to 3 kg. This 55 × 35 × 25 cm figure is the cabin baggage standard applied across Indian scheduled carriers, and gate staff check it against a physical gauge.
On most routes it is a total weight covering all your checked bags together: around 20 kg on the cheapest Economy fares and domestic Thailand sectors, 30 kg on standard and flexible Economy, 40 kg in Premium Economy and Royal Silk Business, and 50 kg in Royal First. Flights to and from the Americas use piece rules instead — two bags of 23 kg in Economy and two of 32 kg in the premium cabins.
On most routes it is a single weight covering all your checked bags together: 15 kg on domestic Türkiye flights, commonly 20 kg, 25 kg or 30 kg on international Economy depending on the route and fare, and 30 kg or 40 kg in Business. Flights to and from the Americas use piece rules instead — two bags of 23 kg in Economy and two of 32 kg in Business.
