About this tool
Create anniversary messages by years, relationship and language, with the traditional gift symbol and jubilee name.
The Anniversary Wishes Generator writes a complete anniversary message from four inputs — the number of years, who the couple is to you, the language and the tone — and folds in the traditional gift symbol and the jubilee name for that exact year. It uses the classic Emily Post traditional list (paper at year 1, silver at 25, gold at 50) alongside the modern list published by the American National Retail Jeweler Association in 1937. Messages are available in English, Hindi and Hinglish, each written separately rather than translated.

Traditional and modern gift lists for years 1 to 15 and every fifth year to 75, with no invented entries.
Handles 11th, 12th and 13th properly in English and uses पहली, दूसरी and the -वीं form in Hindi.
A message to your own spouse ends differently from one to grandparents or to a client.
The classic list runs paper (1), cotton (2), leather (3), fruit and flowers (4), wood (5), then continues to tin or aluminium at 10, crystal at 15, china at 20, silver at 25, pearl at 30, ruby at 40, gold at 50 and diamond at 60. Years outside this list carry no traditional symbol.
The 25th is the Silver Jubilee, called रजत जयंती in Hindi. The 50th is the Golden Jubilee (स्वर्ण जयंती), the 60th is the Diamond Jubilee (हीरक जयंती) and the 70th is the Platinum Jubilee.
The traditional list grew up in Britain and continental Europe over the 19th century and favours materials that get more valuable over time. The modern list was published by the American National Retail Jeweler Association in 1937 and assigns a giftable product to every year — clocks at 1, appliances at 4, diamond jewellery at 10.
Yes, and mainly in the closing line. A message to parents usually acknowledges what their marriage taught you, a message to friends is lighter, and a message to a colleague or client stays with good wishes and avoids anything personal. This tool changes that closing line with the relationship you pick.
