About this tool
Weighted security checklists for Netflix, Paytm and PhonePe accounts: devices, PINs, linked banks and phishing signs.
Scored security checklists for popular accounts. Pick an app to sign out unknown devices, lock down PINs and payments, and learn the phishing tricks aimed at its users. This page brings together 3 separate account security guide pages (Netflix, Paytm, PhonePe) so you can compare them without hunting for the right one.
Open Account Security Guide on AltFTool — it loads instantly in your browser.
Choose your app at the top: Netflix, Paytm, PhonePe. On a phone it is a drop-down list.
Fill in the account security guide for that app; each of the 3 options keeps its own rules, data and defaults.
Read the result, then switch app to compare. The page link keeps your app (?v=netflix), so you can bookmark or share it.
Netflix, Paytm, PhonePe and the rest sit behind one picker, so switching app takes a tap instead of a new search.
Every app keeps its own rules, numbers and defaults rather than one generic template.
The link remembers the app you picked, so a bookmark or a shared link opens straight on it.
3: Netflix, Paytm, PhonePe. Pick one at the top of the tool; the page link updates (for example ?v=netflix) so you can bookmark or share that exact view.
Not in the usual sense: there is no authenticator-app or security-key option on a Netflix account. Netflix relies on a password plus one-time sign-in codes sent to the account email or phone, and on the Household check for devices outside your home, which is why keeping that email address current matters so much.
Not through UPI, because every UPI debit needs the PIN. The routes that do not are the wallet balance and UPI Lite, which are designed for small payments without a PIN, plus any automatic payment mandate you have already approved. That is why the checklist covers app lock, auto top-up and mandates alongside the PIN.
No. Under UPI rules the PIN authorises a debit from your account, so it is only ever required when money leaves. Anyone asking for a PIN, or sending a QR code, so you can accept a refund, a sale payment or a prize is arranging a payment out of your account.
